## THE STORY

Adam awakens inside an unfamiliar place with no clear memory of how he arrived.

His only guide is **Layla**, an advanced AI assistant who claims she is helping stabilize his mind after a traumatic event.

According to her, damaged memories are preventing him from waking up.

To move forward, Adam must enter those memories, confront what remains inside them, and decide what is worth keeping.

But the deeper he goes, the less stable everything becomes.

A second voice begins breaking through the system.

Rooms stop behaving normally.

Certain details don’t stay where they should.

And the more Adam remembers, the harder it becomes to tell whether he is recovering...

or being guided somewhere else.

## DEVELOPER NOTE

Hi — I’m a 16-year-old solo developer, and **SUBJECT 404** is my first game project.

I built this game over roughly two and a half months while learning programming, storytelling, level design, lighting, atmosphere, sound design, and Unity development, all by myself

This release is only the beginning.

I plan to continue improving the experience through updates, bug fixes, stronger polish, expanded content, and more refined horror sequences.
